Browse vehicles and place a bid from the listing page. Timed auctions run over a set period; live auctions sell vehicles one after another. Proxy bidding lets you set a maximum and the system bids for you, only as much as needed to stay in front. Bids are binding, so confirm your maximum before submitting. If you're outbid you'll get an in-app notification, and you can raise your bid any time before the auction ends.

When you win, your payment is held in escrow for 48 hours before it's released to the seller. This protects both sides while the vehicle handover is arranged. Your invoice shows the winning bid, buyer's premium (5%), GST (15%) and a processing fee. Pay by bank transfer, credit card or wire transfer within three business days. If something is wrong with the vehicle, contact support within the escrow window so the hold can be reviewed.

Each vehicle carries a condition grade from A to F. Grade A is excellent, B is good, C is fair, D is poor, and F is salvage. Listings also include an AI damage assessment and, where available, a professional inspection report with photos. For salvage vehicles, read the damage description and part-by-part analysis carefully. You can also request a pre-purchase inspection before bidding on selected listings.

Dealers start by completing identity and ownership verification, then add payout details and publish a first listing through the guided wizard. Choose a fixed price or auction format, add photos and NZ disclosures (registration, WoF/CoF, road-user charges), and set your price or reserve.
